SAL Scholarship Program Welcomes New Mentors for 2024-2025

As the SAL Scholarship Program welcomes its fourth generation of students, it has also successfully garnered nominations from company members to serve as mentors for the 2024-2025 academic year. On September 27, 2024, the Scholarship Committee was pleased to welcome five new mentors, bringing the total to 18. This expansion in scale and human resources clearly demonstrates the inspiration that SAL has generated within the business community.

Becoming a mentor in the SAL program is not only about providing guidance and support to students but also about sharing kindness with heartfelt dedication. Through monthly meetings with students and meaningful events such as the SAL Christmas celebration, summer experiential trips, and the annual scholarship renewal assessment, our mentors set positive examples through their knowledge, experience, and unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation.

Mr. Paul Yang - BOD, expressed, “SAL is one of the programs I am most proud of within our CSR initiatives, and I am excited when I think about the future of SAL in 5, 10, or even 15 years.” He also praised the team of mentors, noting that their involvement is not obligatory; they volunteer their time and passion to care for the students. He believes that in the future, these students will pass on the values they have received from us today.
